The Suffolk Flag
Not surprisingly we also stock the Suffolk flag. The Suffolk flag? Not a lot of people know that England's patron saint, St. George, never set foot in England. On the other hand, England's first saint, St Edmund, gave his name to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk's county town.
Armed with this info the East Anglian Daily Times and BBC Radio Suffolk engaged in the brave but perhaps doomed attempt to change England's patron saint to St Edmund.
Bill couldn't resist joining in to support his native county and with a little help from the Suffolk Heraldry Society came up with the Suffolk flag based on St Edmund's arms ... and now you can own one of these 5x3 foot flags for just £9.95 (or £12.39 if we post it to you in the UK).
